Wat is the Skunk Ape?
The original Esti Capcaki, or Florida’s Bigfoot.
During the 1970s Skunk Ape became a more frequent sight, probably with all the expansion to accommodate those moving into Florida, droughts and wild fires. The Skunk Ape has reddish brown hair, is around 7 feet tall and stinks a mixture of wet dog, rotting eggs, and skunk. Its territory expands from Suwannee County, to Naples. There have now been sightings at Palm Beach, Hernando, Pasco, Monroe, and Collier Counties.
There is even a Skunk Ape Research Center in Ochopee!
Some believe that the Skunk Ape is an escape circus orangutan from back in the day. Fools!
There’s a guy named Shealy. He’s the owner of Skunk Ape Research Headquarters down in Florida. And he is right… Everyone going down to Florida should visit his headquarters. If anyone buys his field guide and manages to take a CLEAR picture of the Skunk Ape and email it to me will receive 12 free exclusive t-shirts.
